Just as I was hoping! Perfect for my pre-reader kids (2 and 3). The riddles have pictures so my kids can go through on their own and know what to look for without having to read. Yes, they are easier and less intricate than the traditional I SPY books that we get from the library but I find the level to be great for my kids. The combo book means A LOT more pictures to look through!
We already owned two of the I Spy books in this compilation, but considering the price of this 4-in-1 book was cheaper than even two separate paperback books, it was well worth getting the repeats, especially since the book is a really nice hardback that should last us for a long time. My two year old LOVES these I Spy Reader 1 books and this made for a nice long airplane ride distraction.
Although the book is smaller in size than I originally thought when I ordered it (that was my fault for not reading the dimensions), I’m actually glad it’s so small. My 3 year old absolutely loves this book and always asks to read it. It has plenty of different pages and she caught on very fast. She’s always loved “find the picture†books so this is perfect!
My 2 year old spends hours reading this book. I like that it is 4 books in 1 and keeps her entertained for hours. The pages are sturdy for little fingers and most objects are not really hard to find. A great tool for learning if you do it with the little ones. We say the color of the object and what it is. She loves to find everything in this one.
I bought this book to be included with Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child shoebox. Perfect size with room to spare. I love the I Spy series and thought this might be nice for a child that may or may not read or speak English and learning to read. No matter what country it goes to I am hoping the child that receives it will be pleased.
Great for a 3 1/2 year-old! I love doing this book with my daughter, she really likes it. It has tons of pages!
Fun book for my 5 year old grand daughter and I to enjoy together. Besides finding the objects, it is GREAT as she is learning to read and can learn new words and have fun finding the items.It IS only one book, and is not the larger books my own children used to have.All in all, a fun book. I would not recommend this for children over 7 or so, as the objects are pretty easy for my 5 year old grand daughter to find!
4 year old loves this book. I spy is her favorite. Can’t wait to buy her the levels up as she grows
