This book consists of a few poor quality amateur photographs of a variety of islands accompanied by not very informative captions. There is no info for the prospective traveler. You can find better photos and much more information in any decent travel guide. In my copy the photos and captions in the last few pages weren't printed properly, being just a smudge of colors. Amazon should not sell defective books.
Useless. If you have zero internet access and zero travel experience, maybe you would enjoy this book of amateur photography and 6th grade book report style travel documentary. I’m sure my friends will get a good laugh at me for buying this. Thanks for the good times.
This book is a must-have if you're visiting the area. The cultural-historical sketches are very useful to the visitor. I only hope that the author turns his attention to Cuba next time.

VALUABLE INFO
This should be titled "pictures of forts." I was looking for a travel guide to the Caribbean - where to go, what to avoid, etc. Instead what it is, is one person's photos taken on a travel ship tour. I liked the pictures, but would have liked them better if they were something other than old forts. Also they were all B&W.
Very limited information.
