I liked the story. What really bugged me was how she said Chloe has breast cancer and had a double mastectomy. She goes on to say her nipples had feeling and her breast were the same only larger. Then she states she had to have a needle biopsy. If she had a double mastectomy there are no nipples they can be rebuilt but there is no feeling. There scars are on both sides of each breast. You can not have a needle biopsy because there is nothing to biopsy. If you have reconstruction it is skin stretched over implants. If Chloe had a lumpectomy then yes they can still do needle biopsy. This may only bug me because I had cancer. I feel you should know what you are talking about if you are going to write about it. Cancer affects so many women and is emotionally devastating. I did enjoy the book and was glad Dean grew up. I just cannot give it a good rating.
I was given this book as arc, another well written book by Crystal Kaswell, Dean and Chloe went to high school together it has been seven years and they never expected to see each other again. So when she turns up at the Inked Hearts studio after being hired by Ryan, sparks fly. Chloe is a complex girl who’s had her lifer turn upside down and trying to get her life back. She’s never forgotten Dean for the way he treated her yet she can’t help but still be charmed by him. She’s very strong and hides her vulnerability and doesn’t let her guard down easily. Dean has always been the clown of the group and the one who gives advice to his friend about the girls they have fallen for. When he start working with Chloe you see a different side to him and why he doesn’t do relationship, you also see another side to him that no one sees his kind, helpful and encouraging. He wants her to succeed and struggles with his feeling know that he is her boss.
Another amazing novel from one of my favorite authors, Chrystal Kaswell! If you like your romance read to have a strong heroine who remains true to herself, and a handsome bad boy alpha who is changed through the process of lust turned to love, then “HATING YOU, LOVING YOU†should be your next read! The prose is wonderful and sensuous, yet easy to read, the characters are realistic, well-developed and rounded, and the plot is so compelling, I spent the entire day reading! The chemistry between Chloe and Dean is a bright flame that kept them apart during their youth, but when they were ready that delayed combustion was the most sensuous explosion ever! My goosebumps had goosebumps! So, for your next “I can’t put this book down†reading, get your copy of “HATING YOU, LOVING YOU†by Chrystal Kaswell today! Happy pages! 😉
The concept started out great....then just went flat. They had a past...ends awkwardly. Meet up again...and then it just gets jumbled. Hard to follow ...and almost stupid. Really tried liking this book....but just couldn't. It tried for 'angst'....and then for 'meet cute' and totally failed on both counts. Too many characters, with their own stories just being mentioned, left me on the outskirts of the whole thing.Also this author should learn again how to write dialogue. So very confusing trying to figure out which characters were "speaking" .Over all don't waste your money.
Dean and Chloe have a past going back to high school that didn't end well. They hadn't seen each other in seven years when she comes to work at his tattoo shop. Both have trust issues due to past life experiences. However, their chemistry is still there. This is a great couple, and the sexual tension is off the charts. Do yourself a favor and read all of the Inked Hearts books.
Hating You, Loving You is the fourth book in the Inked Hearts Series, Dean and Chloe's story. Dean and Chloe know each other from high school were they had one night together. Then 7 years later Chloe talks Ryan into letter her apprentice at Inked Hearts. This has all the emtions that you want out of a book. It's has emtional situations that threaten to bring you to tears. Must Read!
I found this book by chance and was very pleased. I loved the hate/love thing between Chloe and Dean. Loves their sense of humor and their banter/ flirting with each other. This book was a great read now I have to go back and read all of the other guys stories and I can’t wait for Hunter and Emma’s book.
Chloe and Dean!!!! I knew there was so much more to Dean so I patiently waited and Crystal Kaswell did not disappoint! Dean is an outstanding character with many layers and Chloe knows how to peel them all back with her spit fire words and doesn't care attitude! The two of them together is pure dynamite! I love their playful interaction and the genuine love shared by both Dean and Chloe! I can't wait for the next one to see Emma find what she deserves!
